Web page, web site, home page, Webpage, Website; aren't they all the same thing?
Many people use them interchangeably. We make the following distinctions:

web page = a page of content on the world wide web.
web site = a coherent collection of web pages.
home page = the web page in a web site which opens if no other page is specified. If you enter RIpages.com in your browser you get to our home page.
Webpage = with a capital and no space, something RIpages uses to help identify one of our services: low cost do-it-yourself web pages.
Website = with a capital and no space, something RIpages uses to help identify one of our services: Custom web site creation and maintenance.

What is the difference between RIpages Websites and Discount Webpages?
They differ in who creates them, how they are billed and where they are placed.
Websites: We create them, they are billed by the site, and they are usually kept in a domain name based account.
Discount Webpages: You create them, they are billed by the page, and they are usually placed in a subdirectory of RIpages.

Will RIpages work with me to create my site?
Yes. We encourage participation and cooperation. One of our goal's is to provide interactive service.

Can RIpages create webpages to put at my existing site somewhere else?
Yes. We provide complete HTML and JavaScript coding services. Depending on the platform your existing web site is on we may also be able to provide you with programs or scripts to enhance the productivity of your current site.

If you create my website can I move it somewhere else later if I want to?
Yes. The page content can easily be moved. Programs and scripts which provide your site with automated and interactive functions are dependent on particular hardware and software and may not just be moved anywhere. Also, advanced feature like digital IDs and online catalogs may require substantial fees for moving.
