Guidelines for submitting an order by US Mail.  Examples

Give us a complete description of your page, using any combination of the following:
  • Sketch it out on a piece of paper.
  • Use a word processor.
  • Draw it in a paint program.
  • A written description.
 Please printout computer generated descriptions. In addition you may also include the file on a floppy diskette.If you want links to other pages then specify to which page. Use pictures, text or regions of a picture (hotspots) for links.

Include Graphics:
  • photos
  • letterheads
  • image files on floppies. (nearly any format)
  • email us image files
 If you would like us to crop your photos, you can mark the photos by any means: markers, tape, or whatever. If you would like your material returned to you, include postage paid addressed envelope or package. If you are sending images in electronic format, either by email or by diskette, include high quality bitmap images. We can access graphic in all standard formats. Including: bmp, tif, pcx, cpt, psd, gif, jpg,..and many more.
Specify Fonts:
  • Specify fonts for all text.
  • Specify the face (e.g. Arial, Times)
  • Specify the style. (e.g. bold, italics)
  • Specify the size. (e.g. 10point, big, bigger)
  • Specify the color (e.g. red, deep green, RGB 100,0,0)
 In most cases standard font choice are the best. If the computer a web surfer is on doesn't have the font specified in the webpage then a substitution is made. In some cases, the results are bad. For headlines or small sections of text, nonstandard fonts can be converted to graphics, we will do this for you if you like. You must include a printed sample of your font. Also, if you want a font with a particular look give a description and we will do our best to find a match, or pick from our sample font list.
Specify Your Directory
  • Specify which of our domain names you want.
  • Each page is eligible for its own directory.
  • If you have more than one page specify which you want to open automatically.
 Right now we only have one domain name available, RIpages.com. We will be adding more as necessary. If you have a domain name you think would be of common interest, please suggest it. If you are interested in having your pages at your own domain name, click.

Each discount Webpages may be in its own directory (or folder) for example: RIpages.com/MyWeb. Any page you specify can be setup to open when just the directory name is specified. This page will be your home page. For example: if you have 2 pages page1.htm and page2.htm and page1 is your home page then when a surfer types in RIpages.com/MyWeb, page1 will be displayed. If a surfer types in RIpages.com/MyWeb/page2.htm page2 will be displayed. Of course you can have page1 link to page2. In order to do this we will rename page1.htm, default.htm.
